Cantina Laredo Restaurant Review

As part of my best mate's (Kanika's) early birthday celebration, I traveled to London for the day (Covent Garden).  Kanika, Sonam and I arrived to the restaurant at lunch time (1:30pm) and this review breaks it down into two areas: service and the food/drinks.

So first the service:
When we approached the front desk, we stated we had a table booked. We were shown to our seats and a waitress (didn't catch her name) asked us how we were, poured us water and asked if we had been to the restaurant before (which we hadn't). The waitress was really helpful and spoke through the lunch/vegetarian/main menus (yes there is a whole menu dedicated to vegetarians). The waitress and staff were all so friendly and I would give the service 10/10.

Now for the food and drinks

We ordered stuffed jalapenos and guacamole en molcajete to start (warm nachos and guacamole); I actually loved that the waitress made the guacamole freshly in front of us, where she talked us through what ingredients were going into it.

The starters were delicious! The guacamole was so fresh and not too spicy, there was a good amount of nachos for us three and the stuffed jalapenos were melt in the mouth and tasted really good with the coriander lime dip.

Now for the mains we all ordered different dishes, I ordered the Pollo Cascabel; Kanika was unsure what to order and asked the waitress for her opinion, she was really helpful and Kanika decided to order the Mole Poblano and Sonam ordered the Burrito Vegetarianos .

When the food arrived it looked like small portions, but they were so filling, delicious, hot and fresh. I cannot even think of any improvements and I would like to point out the food is amazing. The rating has to be 10/10 again!

I also ordered one avocado margarita- it was SO strong but really different.
